Italia tra il bianco e il nero: incontro e scontro tra identità e alterità

The interaction between different cultures caused by the social phenomena of immigration, on one hand, and by the progress of communication methods, on the other, often has intercultural outcomes but sometimes results in conflicts because of differences related to identity, culture and civilization. Intercultural conflicts are due to different reasons, including historical ones, that can cause feelings of hatred and bitterness between the two sides – the Italian and the African in this case. The latter can hardly forget that the former contributed to their pain and suffering.
