This double issue (7-8) of “La rivista di Arablit” collects the proceedings of the international conference “Intercultural Studies: Theories and Practices in the Context of Cultural Exchanges with the Southern Shore of the Mediterranean”, which was held at Sapienza University of Roma on 28th-29th November 2013 with the participation of Italian and Egyptian scholars.
